Hi all,
Not been around for a bit. I've been fiddling with rusty old motorcycles and associated kit. I wanted something to tour with, so I bought an old BMW. I was looking round for some luggage, when I found.......

Hi all,
As always, it's been a long time. I'm going to try and post here more often - been lurking for ages but I've never really got anything that I really want to say or share that you lot would find interesting.
Except maybe a small subset of you would be interested in the continuing evolution of my Laverda into a working motorbike.....

I found this out in the wwwilds of tinternet. Looks like the chap was a straight talkin' open minded bloke who wrote it like he saw it:
In this small book I have tried to present the circumstances of motor-ownership to those women at home and abroad who have yet to know the splendours of the game.
My grateful thanks are due to the proprietors of The Lady and of The Morris Owner for permission to draw upon certain of my contributions to those journals.
John Prioleau.
London, March 1925.

Woo - Yes! Took it for the MOT last week (failed on a loose handlebar grip and a screw missing out of the rear light lens would you believe) so I stuck some new grips on and an additional screw, and took it for a retest. Pass.

The next time you go to a cathedral, lie down on the floor.
As you rest on the flagstones, look upwards towards the high vaulted ceiling. Take in the massive, unmoving blocks of stone, the gentle curves, the slim vaults holding up countless tons of stone far above your head.
Observe the eternal, unmoving, stillness of the structure - the intended permanence inherent in its design.
I've got an engine on my bench which puts me in a similar frame of mind....
